In keeping pace with the information age, the firm utilizes cutting edge techniques. As an example, the use of Google Earth during depositions and trial as exhibits by which to cross examine witnesses and allow the jury to see first hand the scene of an accident and the layout which, heretofore could only be viewed at street level (without the use of an aerial photograph, at great expense). This is a very powerful tool indeed, and prevents the opportunistic witness from exploiting an otherwise unknowing juror. For example, a party to an automobile accident might describe a curve in a roadway as being "sharp." A birdseye view of that roadway, which previously could only be obtained by an aerial photograph, can now be viewed by jurors live during trial to impeach that witnesses credibility and allow the jury to see that a curve was in reality not as claimed. This technique was actually employed during a recent case and assisted the firm in securing a defense settlement as the jury panel was being selected for the trial. |

Another method by which the firm maintains its edge is by use of software which serves as a repository into which all case related evidence, including photographs, videotapes, depositions, charts, and other jury aides are loaded into a "case" which is specifically created for each lawsuit the firm handles. The "case" can be downloaded onto a mobile "flash" drive and brought to a meeting, deposition, or trial for use in an manner which helps the attorney and client to better present the client's case. |

| Harris County Courthouse |
| In 2007, Thomas Fountain tried one of the first cases in Harris County's new civil courthouse, resulting in a 1.8 Million Dollar Verdict for his clients. The case is being appealed by the Defendants. Harris County now has one of the most modern court complexes including state of the art media available for use by attorneys during trial to present the evidence in a way not contemplated by lawyers practicing just ten years ago. The firm employs the use of sophisticated software in the presentation of trial testimony and evidence. The Harris County Civil Courthouse is designed to enhance one's use of this software. |
