Priot to the commencement of his career as a trial attorney, Mr. Fountain worked as an Oil & Gas Landman. Even before this, while growing up in Galveston County, Texas, he earned money while working in the oil and gas and related construction jobs.  These learning experiences provide the basis for a working understanding of the process involved of obtaining properties for exploration, production, and product transportation. 

As a result, Mr. Fountain has handled litigation involving land based rig failures, offshore rig and platform failures, seismic exploration related cases, Producers 88 and other industry related contract disputes, and oil refinery litigation arising out of many different factual situations.
